This timeline gives a chronological listing of the main events in the life of the fictitious character Robb Stark  as shown in the TV series Game of Thrones, Seasons 1, 2 and 3 (2011 – 2013)

 

 

Before Season 1 Age 0
A son, Robb was born to Catelyn and Ned Stark.
Before Season 1 Age 0
Robb was raised with Jon Snow, his father’s bastard son (actually his cousin revealed in season 6)
Before Season 1 Age 3
Robb’s sister, Sansa, was born to Catelyn and Ned Stark
Before Season 1 Age 5
Robb’s sister, Arya, was born to Catelyn and Ned Stark
Before Season 1 Age 6
Robb’s brother, Brandon (Bran), was born to Catelyn and Ned Stark
Before Season 1 Age 8
Theon Greyjoy, aged 11 years, was brought as hostage to live with the Stark family. Robb was close to Theon.
Before Season 1 Age 10
Robb’s brother, Rickon, was born to Catelyn and Ned Stark.
Season 1 Age 16
Robb and the other Stark children witnessed Ned execute a deserter from the Night’s Watch.

Robb got one of the five direwolves found by the family and named it Grey Wind.

A raven arrived at Winterfell carrying a message from Lysa Arryn that her husband had been killed by the Lannisters.

Winterfell received notification that King Robert Barratheon would visit Winterfell.

Robert persuaded Ned to become Hand of the King and travel to Kings Landing. A betrothal between Robert’s son Joffrey and Sansa Stark was agreed.

Robb’s brother, Bran witnessed Jamie and Cersei having sex. Jamie pushed Bran off the wall hoping the fall would kill him. Bran survived but was paralysed.

Ned, Sansa and Arya went to Kings Landing with Robert Baratheon. Robb, his mother, Catelyn and brothers Bran and Rickon stayed at Winterfell.
Season 1 Age 16
Robb was placed in charge of Winterfell when Catelyn went to Kings Landing to warn Ned that he may have seen something in the Tower and that the Lannisters may want him dead.
Season 1 Age 16
Robb learned that his father had been arrested and charged with treason. He called out the Winterfell bannermen and marched South.
Season 1 Age 16
Robb allowed his mother, Catelyn, to negotiate with Walder Frey to allow Robb’s army to cross the Green Fork. Frey agreed on condition that Robb married one of his daughters.
Season 1 Age 16
Robb secured victory in the Battle of the Green Fork and took Jamie Lannister captive.
Season 1 Age 16
Robb was proclaimed King in the North by the Greatjon and lords of the North.
Season 2 Age 17
Robb refused his mother’s request to avoid war in the South in order to protect the lives of Sansa and Arya.
Season 2 Age 17
Robb sent Theon Greyjoy to negotiate an alliance with Balon Greyjoy despite his mother’s warning that the Greyjoys could not be trusted.
Season 2 Age 17
Robb sent his mother Catelyn to negotiate an alliance with Renly Barratheon, Robert’s younger brother who believed he should be King. While at Renly’s camp she witnessed Renly’s murder with Brienne of Tarth. Concerned that they would be accused of the murder Catelyn took Brienne of Tarth into her service and they left the camp bound for Riverrun.
Season 2 Age 17
Robb earned the title The Young Wolf because of his fierce fighting style. He also continued to win battles against the Lannisters.
Season 2 Age 17
Following victory at the Battle of Oxcross, Robb meets Talisa Maegyr, a young medic.
Season 2 Age 17
Robb is furious when he learns that he has been betrayed by Theon Greyjoy. He agrees to let Roose Bolton’s son, Ramsay retake Winterfell on condition that his brothers Bran and Rickon are brought out alive and that Theon is brought to him for execution.
Season 2 Age 17
Robb’s army wins victory at the Battle of the Yellow Fork
Season 2 Age 17
Jamie Lannister escaped captivity killing the two sons of Rickard Karstark. After Jamie Lannister is recaptured Robb alienates Karstark by refusing to allow him to kill Jamie Lannister in revenge for the deaths of his sons.
Season 2 Age 17
Robb is furious with his mother for freeing Jamie Lannister and orders her placed under house arrest.
Season 2 Age 17
Robb slept with Talisa Maegyr, confessed his love for her and then secretly married her.
Season 3 Age 18
Robb marched to Harrenhal where he found the castle filled with the bodies of the Northern prisoners
Season 3 Age 18
Robb received notification of the death of his brothers Bran and Rickon and the death of his grandfather, Hoster Tully.
Season 3 Age 18
Robb and his mother attended the funeral of Hoster Tully
Season 3 Age 18
Robb and his uncle nicknamed Blackfish were furious with Edmure Tully for going against their plan to defeat the Lannisters.
Season 3 Age 18
Rickard karstark murdered Martyn and Willem Lannister, who had been taken prisoner by Edmure Tully, in revenge for the death of his sons by Jamie Lannister. Robb is furious with Karstark and orders his execution.
Season 3 Age 18
Despite warnings that he will lose the Karstark army if the execution goes ahead, Robb refuses to back down and executes Rickard Karstark.
Season 3 Age 18
Those loyal to Karstark leave Robb’s army leaving his force seriously depleted.
Season 3 Age 18
Robb needed more men to defeat the Lannisters so sent word to Walder Frey asking for a re-negotiation of their alliance. Walder Frey sends word that although he is upset that Robb has gone back on their agreement he will still agree to an alliance if Robb makes a formal appology and Catelyn’s brother Edmure marries one of his daughters.
Season 3 Age 18
Robb, Taelisa, Catelyn, Edmure and their followers to the Twins, the Frey home, for Edmure’s wedding. On the way Talisa tells Robb that she is pregnant.
Season 3 Age 18
As the wedding celebrations draw to a close Catelyn noticed that Roose Bolton was wearing chain mail under his clothing. She also noticed that the Frey servants had closed the doors and realised they had been trapped. She screamed to Robb but it was too late. Robb saw Talisa stabbed in the stomach and his mother hit by a crossbow shot before being stabbed in the heart by Roose Bolton. The event is known as the Red Wedding
