Lewis Capaldi was born Lewis Marc Capaldi in Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland. The identity of his parents has not been revealed. He was the couple’s second child, his elder brother Warren had been born previously. Lewis is second cousin once removed to Dr Who actor, Peter Capaldi.

Lewis’s younger sister was born.
2000 (during)
Young Lewis Capaldi performed for the first time at a holiday camp. He sang a number of Queen songs.

Capaldi began his education.

Lewis would often sing in pubs.
2007 (Autumn)
By the time he began secondary school Lewis had decided he wanted a career in music. He began recording his music and publishing it on YouTube.

Lewis Capaldi released the single ‘Someone You Loved’. It reached number 1 in the UK and number 3 in the US charts.

Lewis Capaldi performed on Radio 1’s Live Lounge. He sang a cover of ‘Shallow’ by Lady Gaga.
2019 (3rd May)
Lewis released the single ‘Hold Me While You Wait’. It reached number 4 in the UK singles charts.
2019 (17th May)
Capaldi released his first album ‘Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent’. It reached number 1 in the UK and number 25 in the US album charts.

Capaldi released the EP ‘Bruises’ as a digital download.

Capaldi released the single ‘Before You go’..
2020 (March)
